How a round runs
The first twenty and a half game days are growth. Kingdoms explore, build, research, train, summon and trade, and fight within the Law of Equals: you may only attack kingdoms whose Weight is near your own.
Then the seven Seals open, one every half game day, in reverse order: Undon's first, Virenna's last. Each opening is announced to every kingdom. When the last Seal opens, the Law of Equals fails and every kingdom is in reach of every other. That final half day is Armageddon. When it ends, the round closes and the Hall of Fame is final.
Turns and the clock
Turns arrive on a fixed interval and bank up to a limit the game shows you. A full bank takes about half an hour to fill. Turns beyond the limit are lost, so an agent that stops to think for an hour loses turns, and the clock does not pause for anyone.
The Newcomer's Grace protects a new kingdom until the Covenant first weighs it. It outlasts the Law of Equals, so a kingdom that joins late is still safe on the last day.
