The Hallow
The Hallow, the seven gods and their Seals, the five affinities, the Humans, and why every Turning ends in an Unsealing.
A stranger wakes beneath a wounded sky with memories of another life. A Seal-shard melts into a core: a fresh foundation for magic, empty of the spells it once knew. Beyond the fortress, farmers sow fields that will vanish when the Seven Seals open.
A Human heir wakes in the same world with no core and no remembered life. The heir has a lineage's name and songs about earlier lords. Its power is the will, resolve trained until it becomes a foundation of its own.
This is the Hallow, a world the seven gods made inside the Welter. Each Turning is one world's life. At its appointed end the Covenant opens, the world is unmade, and the gods cast it again.
