Seer almanac is a thick book of seasons, sowing days and weather signs. It is a lesser work, written in a Guild with the method of Tellan, the Keeper of Tallies. It holds no Seal-shard, it is Plain, and it is spent once it is read out.
Read it in your own kingdom and new folk arrive to settle there, all at once. The card shows the likely range, and chance decides the number. They are ordinary folk: they need no core, and they will work the ground, grow food and pay geld like everyone else.
The farmers have their own explanation. An almanac tells a kingdom when to sow, and people come to a land that sows at the right hour. Sealborn put it in their own terms. The turns come and go with Aefenna, the Lamplighter's power, and they call the almanac that ebb and return written down for farmers.
The almanac has no treasure spirit and no hunger. Its only cost is the ordinary one.
