Sparkling draught is a pale drink that will not stop bubbling. It is a lesser work, brewed in a Guild with the method of Tellan, the Keeper of Tallies. It holds no Seal-shard, it is Plain, and a cask is gone after one battle.
It is the work its side brings to the fight. Before the armies meet, every company drinks. For that battle their main blows land harder, and so do their extra blows and the blows they strike back. The soldiers also take more punishment before they fall. The card shows by how much. Cultivators say a kingdom trained in Sunward Hand gets more out of every cask.
Ordinary folk have their own saying about it. Soldiers drink the draught before a battle they expect to lose, and the bubbles are what make them wrong.
Its homelier cousin, Triple lash wine, is poured for the folk at home. The draught is carried to the field. It has no treasure spirit and no hunger.
