Wisdom stone is a smooth grey stone that is warm in the hand. It is a lesser work, pressed in a Guild with the method of Tellan, the Keeper of Tallies. It holds no Seal-shard, it is Plain, and it crumbles once it is spent.
Spend it in your own kingdom and geld fills the treasury at once. Geld is the everyday coin that ordinary folk pay and armies cost. How much the stone gives is up to chance; the card shows the range.
The artisans tell of its first making. They say the first stones were pressed on the counsel of a Crucible keeper, one of the Wanderers who serve any kingdom for pay and leave when the pay stops. Every stone since, they say, is a copy of that counsel.
When a kingdom spends the stone, it is paid what the counsel would have saved it. The stone has no treasure spirit and no hunger. Its only cost is the ordinary one.
