Ewe is a flock animal of the Hallow. It comes to a kingdom through a Flock warden, a flock warden in its service, who tends a flock whose ewes join the kingdom. It has no recruitment price; the card shows how it comes. It is an ordinary beast. It has no affinity and is Plain, unlike the affinity-born beasts that live where an affinity runs strong.
The flock warden is a kind of Wanderer. Each is a foreign soul with a heart demon of the same shape, and every one of them shares the same knowledge. They serve any kingdom for pay, and they leave when the pay stops.
The wardens have sayings about their charges. A flock feeds itself on the kingdom's grass, so a Ewe asks no upkeep. Its mind is too simple and too calm for a dream or a mind-spell to take hold.
It barely fights, and the card shows how little it adds. It can be dismissed.
