Minor fiend is the smallest of Deopa's creatures that a kingdom commonly sees: a winged shape that belongs to the Deep that Deopa, the Deep holds within himself. Its affinity is Umbra. It was never one of the natives' dead.
Unlike most of the Deep's creatures, it is not called by a spell. A kingdom recruits it through its Barracks, as it would a soldier, for geld, a little mana and a person. Every bargain of the Deep consumes people. The Sealborn say this one takes its person once, at the start, and asks for no more folk afterwards. From then on it is kept on geld and a little mana, like any hired soldier. Its card lets its master send it away.
It is a weak thing alone. It flies over the line and stings with venom, and it is low in cost. Umbra lords who cannot yet afford the greater bargains fill their ranks with it.
