Pod beast is a small winged creature that guild artisans bind into a work. It comes to a kingdom when Pod beast seed is operated. It has no recruitment price and no barracks behind it.
A lesser work made with Tellan, the Keeper of Tallies's method holds no Seal-shard, but operating it can release a bound creature without anyone casting a spell. A coreless lord cannot cast, but they may operate an admitted work; whether this one is admitted depends on the operator and the work's terms. Like every made thing, the creature is Plain.
The artisans say the price of its keeping was paid when the work was made, so it asks no upkeep. They say it has no mind of its own either, only the shape the work gave it, so there is nothing in it for a dream or a mind-spell to catch.
It flies and strikes hard, but it is fragile, and the card shows both. It can be dismissed.
