Human masonry is the building craft of a Human lineage: how to square a stone, set a course and raise a wall that stands. The card files it among the lineage's spells, but that is only where the card keeps it. A Human lord cannot cast any spell, and nothing they learn or own changes that.
The card prices it as research. For a Human lord, that price is the labour of working the craft out again. The songs remember that the old lords built well, but each new people must learn the trade with their own hands. Once it is learned, the lord raises their buildings faster, on top of the pace their Workshops set. The card shows how much. It asks no mana and no turns.
