Summon colossus is an ultimate summoning of Lumen, the affinity of order, law, light and protection that Daegred, the Sunward holds. It calls Colossus to serve the caster's own kingdom; it cannot be cast into anyone else's. Few answer, and more answer as the caster's realm deepens; the card shows how many.
Summoned things are shapes a spell calls out of the Welter, and mana keeps them standing. This is among the greatest of them. The call takes many turns and a vast price in mana. Lumen cultivators say so great a shape must be drawn out slowly, or it comes apart on the way. They also say it holds together only because Wefan, the Weaver set the Fourth Seal against shapelessness, so that power may hold the form of a spell. In their telling, no spell has kept a larger form.
It belongs to shards that woke in Lumen. Every Turning a Sealborn must recover it by research, and a Human lord cannot summon by casting at all.
