Summon ghost blade is a complex summoning of Lumen, the affinity of order, law, light and protection that Daegred, the Sunward holds. It calls Ghost blade to serve the caster's own kingdom; it cannot be cast into anyone else's. The call is long and dear, held open over several turns until the shape answers.
The Sealborn who cast it do not agree on what the warriors are, but the Human lineages have a song about them. A given word is the will made binding, and the Covenant, which is itself the gods' will made binding, recognises it. The songs say the blades this spell calls take the shape of a soldier's sworn resolve, which the Covenant keeps after the soldier is gone. It is a strange song for the coreless to sing. The lords cannot call these warriors themselves, because a Human lord cannot summon by casting.
More answer as the caster's realm deepens; the card shows how many. A core of another affinity calls them at greater cost, with more failure and fewer answering. Every Turning a Sealborn must recover the spell by research.
