Tranquility is one of the greatest spells of Bloom, the affinity that Virenna, the Greenmother holds, and it is cast against another kingdom. It takes several turns to cast. When it lands, the enchantments on the target begin to come apart, whoever laid them: the target's own, and those others have laid there, all alike. The strongest go first, and a deeper realm unpicks more. Only enchantments marked beyond dispelling stay.
Its reason is growth. Aefenna, the Lamplighter teaches Lasting Shape, the art that teaches a spell to keep its shape after the ebb has passed. Bloom cultivators say every kept shape is a fence, and growth overgrows fences. Leave a field alone long enough, they say, and nothing laid over it lasts.
It lies beyond the complex spells a neighbour can reach, so only a Sealborn whose core woke in Bloom can master it. Like every spell pressed into a core since the Age of the First Sealborn, it perishes at the Unsealing.
Cultivators call it the younger echo of Greenmother's Unbinding, one of the five oldest spells, older than the Scar, which leaves nothing standing at all.
