A Sealborn calls her with Summon brook maiden. She asks no coin, only mana, and her lord may release her back to the water at will.
Cultivators find her gift odd. The mind belongs to Reverie, the affinity of dream and illusion, and Reverie lies across the ring from Bloom and repels it. How does a creature of the green reach the mind at all? The water-folk answer that a brook does not dream. It only shows a face its own reflection, and a mind that looks too long forgets to fight.
