Chipmunk is a small creature of the Hallow's woods, quick enough to glide from branch to branch. It is an ordinary beast. It has no affinity and is Plain, unlike the affinity-born beasts that live where an affinity runs strong.
It has no recruitment price and asks no upkeep. They come to a kingdom when someone operates Novice primer, and a Conjurer calls a swarm of them before battle.
The folk watch it all the same. When a kingdom explores the Mist, the Covenant fixes that ground as wilderness. The folk say these creatures are always the first living things in newly fixed wilderness, and the first to leave ground about to be lost. They also say its mind is too quick and too small for a dream or a mind-spell to hold.
It glides, but it barely fights, and the card shows how little it adds. It can be dismissed back to its trees.
