Frost spirit is a great elemental of ice. A mage of Reverie casts Summon storm spirits, and out of the Welter comes a shape of frozen air as tall as a tower. It is one of the shapes that spell can call.
It strikes from afar with killing cold, and then strikes again. Cold and poison cannot touch it. Mana holds its shape, and its upkeep, paid in mana alone, is heavy. Withdraw the mana and it thaws and is dismissed.
Fire is its ruin. Fire harms it more than any other attack. Reverie cultivators see the ring of affinities in that: Pyre lies across the ring from Reverie, and the two repel each other.
Aefenna, the Lamplighter set the Third Seal to hold back night without ending. Reverie cultivators say a frost spirit is a dream of that endless night, the cold the god keeps outside. They say it without much comfort.
