Profane reaper is one of the greatest of Deopa's creatures, a shape that belongs to the Deep that Deopa, the Deep holds within himself. Its affinity is Umbra. It was never one of the natives' dead.
A mage calls it with Summon profane reaper. Its bargain is among the heaviest the Deep offers. Each turn it serves, it takes mana to hold its shape and eats the kingdom's folk faster than almost any other creature. Once called, it cannot be dismissed, and no shortage breaks it loose. Umbra lords who call it remember what happened in the Age of Odrin, when Odrin Half-Core's army rose and his living folk faded.
On the field it lands an additional strike, finds its mark at range and spreads fear through the ranks. It is still standing when a long battle ends.
Deopa, the Deep and Undon, the Unmaker are opposed: the depth that keeps against the unmaking that takes. The Human lineages sing that this creature belongs to the Deep but reaps the way the Unmaker does.
