Thunder giant is a giant of the Pyre peaks, affinity-born where Pyre runs strong. It does not close to fight. It stands back and breathes lightning, and it rarely misses. It is hard to bring down.
A Sealborn calls thunder giants with Summon thunder giant. Their keep is geld and mana, and their lord may release them back to the peaks at will.
Lords value them most against walls. Fortresses anchor a kingdom and barriers ward it, and a thunder giant is trained for siege work; what that does in battle is shown on the card. Where a Human lord sends their Sapper to work behind shields, a Pyre lord sends lightning.
The giants call thunder the war-voice of Pyre. Pyre is the affinity of fire, destruction and war, they say, and fire and destruction have many servants, but war needed a voice that carries. The giants of the peaks were made to carry it.
