Corrupt high seraph

Corrupt high seraph is one of the celestials descended into the Deep, and among the greater of them. At the Breaking, some celestial beings went down into the Deep that Deopa, the Deep holds within himself. They count among his creatures now, and their affinity is Umbra. The lesser Corrupt seraph and the far greater Corrupt throne seraph went down with it.

It is not recruited. A mage calls it with The Deepward Step, and the caster does not decide which of the descended celestials comes. It asks mana, not people: it came down whole and borrows no life from the living. The Sealborn say that the greater the celestial that came down, the more mana it takes to hold its shape. Once called, it cannot be dismissed, and no shortage breaks it loose.

It still has the beauty, the wings and the healing touch of a celestial like High seraph. Lumen mages find that the hardest thing to face: a shape they know, turned against them and wearing another affinity.
