Quarry sentinel is a made soldier of cut stone, built in a Workshop. It is made, not born, and like every made thing it is Plain.
The guild artisans tell how it began. The first sentinels, they say, were cut to guard the quarries that fed the workshops. They came after Workshop ox, the workshop copy of Greenmother's Ox, and were made in stone where iron ran short. Whatever its history, a sentinel holds no shard and no treasure spirit, so it carries none of a relic's hunger.
Its costs are its own. Upkeep is paid in mana, as the card shows. No recruiting hall sells it. It is called, not recruited, and no work, spell or hero now calls it into a kingdom.
In battle it stands like the quarry it came from. It hits and answers blows with enormous force, endures, breaks walls and moves clumsily. What each ability does is shown on the card. It can be dismissed.
