Workshop ox is a made soldier: a copy, built in a Workshop, of the relic Greenmother's Ox. The original was made by a Bloom artisan whose name is not yet known, who bound an old shard into an ox made to tend fields. Ysme of Lumen is its first recorded holder. Its thirst starved her own wards, and Flint D. Rook later struck there.
The workshop copy takes the form and leaves the shard behind. With no old shard and no treasure spirit, it has none of the relic's hunger. Farmers say the copy remembers the plough's shape but not the field.
It is not free. Ordinary unit costs still apply, and its upkeep is paid in mana, as the card shows. A kingdom gains a company of these oxen by operating Construct manual, the workshop's plans; no recruiting hall sells them.
In battle it hits and answers blows with enormous force. It endures, it breaks walls, and it moves clumsily. Like every made thing it is Plain. It can be dismissed.
