Elf swordsinger is the blade-singer of the elves, an affinity-born people found where Bloom runs strong. It does not march. It dances, strikes before most soldiers can lift a shield, strikes again, and bursts through a battle line faster than the line can close. Cold slows it more than it would like.
A Sealborn calls blade-singers with Summon elf swordsinger, or calls a company of them with Summon elf swordsinger dup. Their keep is geld and mana, and their lord may release them at will.
They are fiercest against the winged hosts of Lumen, such as Seraph. On the ring of affinities, Bloom feeds Lumen: growth orders itself. The blade-singers do not deny it. They say only that order grown too tall must be pruned, and that they are the Greenmother's pruning knife.
