Oak maiden is one of the small grove-folk, affinity-born where Bloom runs strong. They are fragile in battle and do not stand in a line. They strike from afar and fight with beauty and charm, turning an enemy's attention where it does the enemy the least good.
A Sealborn calls them with Summon oak maiden. Their keep is a little geld and mana, and their lord may release them from service at will.
The grove-folk say each maiden belongs to one tree, and that the great tree-wardens who stand in the same grove, such as Tree guardian, are her elders.
The oak maidens take heart from one thing the Seals left behind: growth is part of the Hallow now, and it lasts until the world is unmade.
